Just don't do it on a 4048, or at least not when anyone is on it.
Instant fault.  (Yes, kevin, I have an open ticket on this, among other
things)

This is 4048 specific, BTW... non-reproducible on other models.  May
even be fixed in p16, but I havn't had a low usage period to test it.
