OSPF with only one area ( 0.0.0.0 ) is running very stable... we fear the
stability of multiple areas, and don't have the need yet, so we haven't
experimented. One thing to make sure... be sure NOT to let one of your
MAXen become area controller (set the priority of a different router, like
a Cisco, to something higher than the priority of all your MAXen), or else
you'll have one of your MAXen get elected area controller and get LAGGED
(3-5 second ping times).... that sucked.
