This last paragraph is what caught my interest !!

"line conditioners"

Now we all have at some stage techs looking at lines.... Is there a
standard "conditioning" of lines we should be getting the techs to
strive for ??

Wouldn't it be great, we give the customers the specs to give to the
techs...
