Very Big Gotcha !!!!!

due to the locality here in Cairns, we do get a lot of travellers.

99% of their problems connecting is that they haven't set their
modems to A-law.

Geez and I love it !! 

my opposition evens refers these problem customers to me, I'm glad
they are so dumb (the other isp's that is ;-)  

a few succint questions and the problems are solved....
