re: (ASCEND) Link M - Pipe 50
I had this occur on a P75 once. I double checked all my equipment and configuration and all was well. On that ISDN line the remote site could dial-out but no incomming calls could be completed and the unit was configured for full two way communication. I have done this many times and my configuration worked every where but this one site.
After 6 weeks of beating up the telephone company who said that nothing was wrong with their configuration, they changed the interface for the ISDN line and everything came up immediately. The problem was a hardware issue on the telco side.
Also, I believe the M means that the Pipeline is in single terminal mode instead of Dual terminal mode as indicated by the D link status. This normally indicates a local telco problem.

Does anybody know what may cause the Link display on a Pipeline 50 to show
M when the Chan Usage is set to Switch/Switch? What other reasons are there
before I go ballistic on US West?
